Personal Data Registration
In compliance with the GDPR and the LOPD-GDD, we inform you that the personal data collected by Locales.es through the forms extended on its pages will be incorporated and will be processed in our files with the purpose of being able to facilitate, expedite, and fulfill the commitments established between Locales.es and the User or the maintenance of the relationship established in the forms that they fill, or to attend to a request or inquiry from the User themselves. Likewise, in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR and the LOPD-GDD, unless the exception provided in article 30.5 of the GDPR applies, a record of processing activities is maintained that specifies, according to their purposes, the processing activities carried out and other circumstances established in the GDPR.
Principles applicable to the processing of personal data
The processing of the User's personal data will be subject to the following principles collected in article 5 of the GDPR and in articles 4 and following of Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on Personal Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights:

The categories of data processed on Locales.es are solely identifying data. In no case are special categories of personal data processed within the meaning of article 9 of the GDPR.
Legal basis for the processing of personal data
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is consent. Locales.es undertakes to obtain the User's express and verifiable consent for the processing of their personal data for one or several specific purposes.
The User will have the right to withdraw their consent at any time. Withdrawing consent will be as easy as giving it. As a general rule, the withdrawal of consent will not limit the use of the Website.
On occasions, the User must or may provide their data through forms to make inquiries, request information or for reasons related to the website's content, and will be informed if any of them is mandatory because they are essential for the proper development of the operation carried out.
Purposes of the processing for which personal data is intended
Personal data is collected and managed by Locales.es for the purpose of being able to facilitate, expedite, and fulfill the commitments established between the Website and the User or the maintenance of the relationship established in the forms that the latter fills or to attend to a request or inquiry.
Similarly, the data may be used for commercial purposes of personalization, operation, and statistics, and activities within Locales.es's corporate purpose, as well as for data extraction, storage, and marketing studies to tailor the Content offered to the User, as well as improve the quality, operation, and navigation on the Website.
At the time the personal data is obtained, the User will be informed about the specific purpose(s) for which the personal data will be processed; that is, the use(s) to which the collected information will be put.
Periods of retention of personal data
Personal data will only be retained for the minimum time necessary for the purposes of its processing and, in any case, only during the following period: 5 years, or until the User requests its deletion.

In the event that the Data Controller intends to transfer personal data to a third country or an international organization, at the time the personal data is obtained, the User will be informed about the third country or international organization to which it is intended to transfer the data, as well as the existence or absence of a decision by the Commission on the adequacy of data protection.
Personal data of children
In compliance with the provisions of articles 8 of the GDPR and 7 of Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights, only those who are over 14 years old can lawfully give their consent to Locales.es for the processing of their personal data. For a minor under 14 years of age, the consent of the parents or guardians will be required for processing, and this will only be considered lawful to the extent it has been authorized.
Secrecy and security of personal data
Locales.es undertakes to adopt necessary technical and organizational measures, according to the appropriate level of security for the risk of data collected, to ensure the security of personal data and prevent their destruction, loss, accidental or unlawful alteration, communication or unauthorized access.
The Website has an SSL certificate (Secure Socket Layer) that ensures that personal data is transmitted securely and confidentially, with data transmission between the server and the User, and feedback, being fully encrypted.
However, since Locales.es cannot guarantee the absolute impregnability of the internet or the total absence of hackers or others who access personal data fraudulently, the Data Controller commits to notify the User without undue delay when a personal data security breach occurs which is likely to entail a high risk for the rights and freedoms of natural persons. According to article 4 of the GDPR, a personal data security breach is understood as any security breach that causes the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration of personal data, unauthorized communication, or access.
Personal data will be processed confidentially by the Data Controller, who undertakes to inform legally or contractually ensure such confidentiality is respected by its employees, partners, and any person to whom the information is made accessible.
Rights derived from the processing of personal data
The User has over Locales.es and thus, can exercise against the Data Controller the following rights recognized in the GDPR and Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights:
- Right of access: It is the User's right to obtain confirmation of whether Locales.es is processing their personal data or not and, if so, obtain information about such personal data and Locales.es's processing of them, as well as, among others, the information available on the origin of said data and the recipients of communications made or planned.
- Right to rectification: It is the User's right to have their inaccurate personal data modified or, considering the purposes of the processing, completed if incomplete.
- Right to erasure ("the right to be forgotten"): It is the User's right, provided current legislation doesn't state otherwise, to obtain the erasure of their personal data when they are no longer necessary for the purposes they were collected or processed; when the User has withdrawn consent and there's no other legal basis for processing; when the User objects to processing and there are no other legitimate grounds; when personal data have been processed unlawfully; when personal data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation; or when personal data were obtained from a direct offering of information society services to a child under 14. In addition to erasing data, the Data Controller, considering available technology and application costs, should take reasonable measures to inform controllers processing personal data of the interested party's request for erasure of any link to such data.
- Right to restrict processing: It is the User's right to limit the processing of their personal data. The User has the right to obtain processing limitation when contesting the accuracy of their personal data; if processing is unlawful; if the Data Controller no longer needs the personal data, but the User needs them to make claims; and when the User has objected to processing.
- Right to data portability: If processing is carried out by automated means, the User has the right to receive their personal data from the Data Controller in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to transmit them to another controller. Whenever technically possible, the Data Controller will directly transmit the data to that other controller.
- Right to object: It is the User's right to prevent the processing of their personal data or to stop Locales.es from processing them.
- Right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling: It is the User's right not to be subject to an individualized decision based solely on automated processing of their personal data, including profiling, unless current legislation states otherwise.
